Risen Records nourishes creativity in our communities by implementing creative place-making projects with diverse opportunities for arts in the music industry.Risen Records mission is to become a catalyst for greater societal change, working to help those in need within our range. Financing Risen programs and charities through federal assistance, donations and the organizations capabilities of earned income in the music industry. Risen Records is passionate about arts, humanities and revitalized culture. We offer multi faceted contributions advancing economic development and working to inspire positive transformation.Music and the ArtsRisen's creative place-making projects help to transform communities into beautiful, and resilient places with art and music at their center. Creative place-making is when artists, arts organizations, and community development practitioners deliberately integrate music, arts and culture into community revitalization. Placing art at the table with not only the normal art functions of the sound recording industry but also with land use, transportation, economic development, education, housing, infrastructure, and public safety strategies. Creative place-making supports local efforts to enhance quality of life and opportunity for existing residents, increase creative activity, and create a distinct sense of humanity.Humanity and MusicRisen Records is not only focused on music and the arts but humanities as well. Risen Records is passionate about documenting lost and endangered music and languages. The Lost Voice Program to develop and advance knowledge and documentation of endangered human languages and song. The Lost Voice program aims also to implement advances in sound recording technology mostly in the field but also in regards to studio recording, documenting, and archiving endangered languages, including the preparation of lexicons, grammars, text samples, and text and sound databases.Risen Records is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
