BIOHulya Heeney, D. Ac. L.AcI am an experienced practitioner of traditional medicine and a graduate of the Institute of Traditional Medicine (ITM) in Toronto. I am a practicing Taoist which informs my work as an acupuncturist. In addition, I am an award winning author for my book on short stories. I play classical guitar and passionate to discover other cultures and their religions throughout travelling. After I had seen the amazing result of acupuncture on my frozen shoulder condition, which I have been suffered from it for couple years, have decided to study acupuncture. When I was specializing in pain and medicinal massage, I have been exploring and practicing Anti-Aging Facelift Acupuncture, generally called 'Cosmetic acupuncture'. I have found that many educated woman are seeking more natural, healthier, and 'green' alternatives to botox and laser treatments and I've become ever more curious and impressed with the results, not just aesthetically, but also in the ways that it improves overall health. I realized I wanted to help people not only feel better but feel better and look good at the same time and so I furthered my studies to specialize in Facelift Acupuncture.I work at Riverdale Homeopathy Clinic on Tuesdays from 10 am to 6 pm as an Acupuncturist , doing cosmetic acupuncture and Pain & Stess management.
