While new to the Philadelphia area, Robin has worked as a costume designer for theater, film, TV and opera in New York City and regionally for almost 20 years. Recent local projects include The Apparent Trap with Yes! And…; The Glass Menagerie at Arcadia University; and The Rocky Horror Show at the Revision Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ. Robin started the internet company Go Baby (www.gobaby.com), in 2005, designing and manufacturing modern accessories for urban moms and their babies. Favorite past costume designs include Brundibar, But the Giraffe and Comedy on The Bridge, which were performed at the New Victory Theater, Yale Rep and Berkeley Rep and were adapted by Tony Kushner with Production Design by Maurice Sendak. Robin was the Resident Costume Designer for the Jean Cocteau Rep where she designed 6 productions including The Bourgeois Gentleman, The Triumph of Love and The Importance of Being Earnest. Other favorite projects include Just Us Boys (Tom Morrissey, director), The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (David Leidholdt, director), Love's Labour's Lost, Fortune and The Pains of Youth (Juilliard), Into the Woods, Working and Twelfth Night (Manhattanville College) and Cat's-Paw and [sic] at Soho Rep. Favorite Film projects include Cosmopolitan with Roshan Seth and Carol Kane, and Chutney Popcorn with Jill Hennessey and Sakina Jaffrey. Robin holds an MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
