Offering lessons in music theory, composition and improvisation. Available for performance and session musician work. I sing (tenor vocalist) in bands, solo, and in choirs. I play saxophone and keyboards in bands, symphonies, and in solo with backup tracks. I am able to play both vocal and non-vocal sets, and can accommodate both high energy and mellow venues. For solo gigs, the keyboard and backup tracks need slight amplification in a public space. I am currently in two bands, a Pink Floyd tribute band and a blues/rock band. Aside from blues/rock, my main interest in music is the progressive rock style denoted by such bands as Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Supertramp, and Rush. I am also in the Laguna Woods Village Symphony. Saxophone is not common to symphonic music, so to play in the symphony, I commonly transpose music for bassoon or bass clarinet to tenor sax, or for horn to alto sax, using Finale.
