Roots is a non-profit in its nascent stage with the aim to protect and impact the two most important things: the earth and the people living on it. Our basic principle is to spread awareness about personal hygiene and sanitation by reduce, reuse, recycle of the waste generated by the opulent and redistribute it to the underprivileged section of the society. We envision a society where every member knows their responsibility towards their own body and Mother Earth, where the infant mortality rate has reduced tremendously, where we are able to eradicate diseases caused by negligence of personal hygiene and sanitation, where we are able to provide the underprivileged section with basic hygiene amenities, where the landfill sites are lesser in number and where people living in slums are shielded from diseases. Our campaign, from our hands to your, includes us looking to partner with hotels from whom we can collect the used bathroom amenities, recycle them and then redistribute them to the section of our society living in slums and small villages.
