The Rotaract Club of Colombo North (RACCN) is one of the most prestigious clubs operating under RID 3220. Rotaract Club of Colombo North is a community-based club chartered in the year 1994 and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Colombo North. We are a group of young passionate individuals who are aspiring entrepreneurs, professionals, writers, architects, students, knowledge seekers, etc.Our primary focus is to build youth leaders from diverse backgrounds who could be trained on sustainability, equip them with life skills and empower them to lead social impact in our country and beyond. We strive to build both local and global connections through service and fellowship. As a mission, we intend to provide service to others, promote integrity, advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through our fellowship of business, professionalism and community leaders. We embrace diversity and celebrates the participation of people of all backgrounds, irrespective of age, nationality, color, skills, sexuality, social status, community and gender identity, as a community based club that seeks to develop a society where people collaborate and take steps to achieve a future with individuals from the community of diverse demographics working together towards bringing positive changes throughout the globe, in our societies and in ourselves. Standing strong with a rich history of 29 years today, with a member base of over 40 members, as a community based club, we look forward to make a change in the local community as well as internationally and to leave a legacy in the world with the theme "Challenging Aspirations, Engaging Service"
