Our StoryRotatingRoom was designed by medical students for medical students. To support this community, both listing and inquiring about sublets is free for med students doing away rotationsHowever, we also realized that there are many other professionals — nurses, doctors, professors, for example — who also have rooms they'd love to rent to medical students. A few years ago, we decided we would also allow non-students to list their sublets for a small fee. We called these listings "sponsored sublets", and, because they were paid listings, provided some extra features — photos, highlighting on the map, and additional reach through our "similar sublets" emails.When we launched the new site in 2020, we decided to open up this "sponsored sublet" feature to anyone who wants to highlight their listing and increase the chances of having it rented. Med students can still list for free if they would like, but now have the option to pay for a sponsored listing and receive the same added features.We've designed the plans to be flexible. You can pay one month at a time if you want the most flexibility, or you can pay up front for a quarter or a full year, and receive up to 40% off the monthly rate.
