Nonprofit Organization Management - Temecula, California, United States
SAFE Family Justice Centers (SAFE FJC) provide a safe place for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, elder abuse, child abuse and youth who are at-risk from four regional locations located in the cities of Riverside, Murrieta, Temecula, and Indio within the County of Riverside, CA. SAFE FJC was established in 1998, in Temecula, CA., as a domestic violence service provider supporting the Temecula Valley and surrounding areas as a stand-alone domestic violence nonprofit. In 2005, SAFE FJC expanded services in partnership with the Riverside County District Attorney's Office and many community-based organizations to create a local multi-disciplinary "Family Justice Center" framework to serve victims of abuse as well as youth who have experienced averse childhood experiences. SAFE FJC provide Riverside County residents with "one stop shop" access to critical lifesaving services for victims who have been abused and are in danger. Victims have direct access to dozens of services, including crisis intervention, emergency relocation, safety planning, and therapy. The goal is to reduce the number of times victims must re-tell their story, travel to obtain services, and serve as an agent for crime prevention by rendering safety and social emotional learning services to youth who are at risk and/or experienced/witnessed violence.
