Sapphire Geoscience Informatics provides user-friendly tools and services for understanding environmental information. We specialize in environmental data analysis and in statistical training. We also develop mobile apps that make environmental data accessible and understandable. Data Analysis Consulting - With expert command of quantitative methods, we extract meaningful information from large and complex environmental datasets. For each project, we custom-design a data analysis strategy and present our results in a comprehensive report. We have successfully tacked projects using atmospheric, oceanic, surface water, land cover and geologic data from a broad range of sources, including the USGS, NOAA, US EPA, National Weather Service, NASA and individually collected data. Statistical Training - For companies that need to increase the depth or breadth of their staff's quantitative skills, we offer short courses and seminars on statistical techniques that are broadly used in environmental fields. We also custom tailor courses at the beginning, intermediate or advanced levels. Each of our short courses or seminars includes an initial consultation, an engaging training session and a packet of supplemental resources. Mobile apps - Our apps provide concrete information based on real science and real data. We are currently developing an iphone/ipad app that will feature map-based exploration of water quality information.
