The SCCUL Sanctuary is a therapeutic support centre, based in Kilcornan, Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. It provides respite days for people who are facing significant life challenges such as cancer, Parkinsons, MS along with support for those experiencing isolation, domestic violence or a mental health difficulties. Supports we offer include art therapy, music therapy, gentle-seated yoga and nutrition workshops. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, all our services have moved online, enabling us to reach people across Ireland and to provide a connection to the outside world for groups such as residents of nursing homes.The SCCUL Sanctuary is available for private hire such as team-building days, strategy meetings, events, classes, family occasions or even weddings! The ample indoor space is well ventilated and adheres to all COVID-19 guidelines. It also boasts the most up-to-date AV facilities and high speed broadband.Proceeds from private lettings enable the Sanctuary to offer therapeutic support days to people facing difficult life challenges. Corporates and groups can nominate what charity/group benefit from their use of the Sanctuary if they wish.The SCCUL Sanctuary is located in the grounds of Kilcornan Estate in Clarinbridge village, Co. Galway. The Estate comprises of over 100 acres of native woodland walks and a beautiful walled garden on the grounds. It is less than a 10 minute drive from the M6/M17/M18 motorways, 20 minutes from Galway City and under one hour from Athlone and Limerick. The convenience and privacy makes the SCCUL Sanctuary an ideal location for your event or offsite brainstorming day!
