Based in Awassa, Ethiopia, School Under The Tree is a kindergarten school for children unable to secure a place in state school. We grow year on year and have done since our inception in 2005 which started as 8 children under a tree. We are now in our 4th school and have over 200 children attending everyday. Our aim is for the school to become self sufficient through student teacher exchange training programs, giving opportunities to young adults across the UK, who have perhaps not had the best education and opportunities available to them growing up, through corporate sponsorship.
