SEYA stands for "Sex Education for Young Adults". We at SEYA Collective believe that Comprehensive sex education can act as a very effective tool to provide a safe, inclusive and liberating space for young adults. There is a stigma built around CSE- one of it being that it only tells us how to have sex, what we fail to see is that it covers a lot more than just sex.● Gender identity and sensitivity● Combating body image issues● Consent and awareness about sexual abuse● Creating an inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community.● Recognising boundaries● Accepting changes positively● Making smart sexual decisions● Use of contraception● Sexually transmitted diseasesIt is being launched with the hope of bringing more awareness about Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights by petitioning for providing Sex education to Young Adults who are part of colleges associated/affiliated with the Osmania University. The need for this was recognised by the core members who were once part of those colleges, and wished they had more guidance in terms of sex education.
