Sheffield Aero Club is a long established airfield and flying school located at Netherthorpe Airfield, Thorpe Salvin, near Worksop. Netherthorpe sits on the very borders of South Yorkshire, North East Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire and is very easy to get to from all directions thanks to it's proximity to motorways and the main 'A' roads in the area. Because of this we are the logical choice for those looking for flying activities in these areas.The airfield is home to the shortest runway in the UK at 382 x 18m. We also offer our members and guests a restaurant and bar with outside viewing area.
