SheHopes gives women and girls around the world HOPE by removing barriers to education, teaching them to protect themselves from gender based violence, and helping them create sustainable livelihoods. Founded in December 2015 and based in Wichita, Kansas, we currently serve communities in India, Kenya and Rwanda.SheHopes provides women and girls with:- Sanitary protection and underwear that enables them to continue going to school during their period- Self-defense instruction that supports the development of confidence in their right and ability to say no - job training to develop financial independence, sustainable livelihoods and the ability to make positive choices for themselves and their families.
