SHRAPNEL is a not-for-profit online magazine showcasing experimental writing from emerging writers in the genres of fiction, creative non-fiction, essays, and poetry. We also converse with the Canadian literary community through book reviews, interviews, and columns. What sets us apart from most literary magazines is that we're looking for weird, absurd, or humorous pieces. Fresh writing across all genres is welcome from CNF to spec. So send us your ridiculous and bizarre tales as we're doing our best to be a beacon of playfulness in an otherwise dark time.Canadian-run and internationally minded, SHRAPNEL publishes writing and art from around the globe, including translated submissions.
