SkillBean is a platform as a service company. We help companies understand their workforce training needs through analyzing their skill gaps and competency gaps. Then we map those gaps to the appropriate training either through the company’s internal training offerings or the external training in our carefully curated marketplace of over 2,000 courses across 4 product categories: online learning, classroom-based learning, certifications/assessments, and events/conferences. Our feedback tools let learning consultants and employers track the progress and effectiveness of the training programs while the newsfeed feature gives HR, training consultants, and employees ongoing and upcoming training events, certification courses and conferences. A spinoff of STORM Technologies, STORM Learning (later rebranding to SkillBean) was born from the consistent feedback from the organization and the executives of the need for the services. With a limited network of training programs combined with a growing need for ongoing skill development, the executives sought a comprehensive marketplace of learning and development courses. SkillBean was formed to bridge the gap.
