SMILE FOR HOPE is an officially registered NGO, which also holds the status of INGO since SMILE FOR HOPE is an endowment fund registered in France and responds to aboard of directors. We are annually audited and 100% of the funds raised are reinvested in our projects without administration fees.With our focus being the support of pediatric cancer patients in Nepal, we started expanding our operations to running mobile medical camps in remote villages while socially and economically empowering the populations we were reaching out to. In view of the earthquake on April 25th 2015 however, the current situation demands a readjustment of our cause of action. True to our policy of reaching out to where no aid arrives, our local team of Nepali has assessed the range of damage in the remote areas, out beyond NGOs or government's range of reach or interest. Our focus having always been on promoting and supporting holistic, self-sustainable projects, we have coined a "disaster relief programme" that encompasses our main operational pillars: engaging the local community, bringing holistic solutions and ensuring long time vision and fruitful impact.
