SDC Foundation is a Dehradun-based not-for-profit engaged in communication, capacity building, and community mobilization. SDC works on issues of public policy and governance in Uttarakhand and other Himalayan states. Established in 2017, SDC has been engaged on issues of environmental policy, sustainable urbanization, responsible tourism, public health, and more. SDC has been advocating for sustainable development practises in the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR). SDC Foundation has worked with a range of stakeholders – government institutions, private corporations, think-tanks, international development agencies, media, and citizen groups. SDC has proven expertise in carrying out Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaigns, perception surveys, technical training, social audits, impact assessment studies, and strategic documentation.
