Spackenkill High School is a co-educational high school part of the Spackenkill Union Free School District that offers a rigorous college preparatory education to grades 9-12. They provide both the opportunity to be a public school student by registration in the Spackenkill Union Free School District, or a tuition student at the cost of $12,660 (2021-2022) for non-residents of the school district. In 2018, it was awarded and named as a National Blue Ribbon School, one of 62 high schools nationwide to be so recognized that year by the U.S. Department of Education. It is ranked as #1 in Best Public High Schools in Dutchess County as of 2021 & 2022. The school also offers a plethora of opportunities to help prepare the student their future aspirations and beyond. Many courses are offered such as Regents, Honors, and Advanced Placement courses (AP) for multiple subjects and electives. There are also a variety of clubs, extracurriculars, and sports available within the school for the students to participate in. Students are accepted into top universities and the school has a reputation for acceptances to Ivy League schools including Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Brown, UPenn, Dartmouth, and Cornell.
