Sport Allies is an exciting new initiative to promote inclusion and challenge homophobia among young people, using sport as a platform for learning. It has grown out of the international success of the "Warwick Rowers" calendar project and is working with one of the top professional services firms, EY. Vision: To create a world where all young people can define and express themselves, particularly in relation to their sexuality, without fear of prejudice. Mission: Our purpose is to support young people to develop a healthy and respectful view of their own sexuality and that of others. Aims: To promote a culture of inclusion among young people, particularly in relation to sexuality. To promote sport as an inclusive opportunity for the personal and social development of all young people. To support young people around the world who may be confronting challenges in relation to their sexuality. How we will achieve these: Working with registered charity EACH (Educational Action Challenging Homophobia) to develop our own outreach programme which we will take into universities and schools to promote sport as an inclusive opportunity for the personal and social development of all young people. Create a website where people can read other people's stories and access relevant and helpful information tailored to their situation and location to support young people around the world who may be confronting challenges in relation to their sexuality.
