Our mission at SQD is to extend an arm to those at-risk on our communities. Whether it be fires, floods, or global pandemic, we are here to find a way to give back to our community. We are here to serve those who are vulnerable and to stimulate local restaurants, grocers, and family-owned stores during difficult times.SQDInk is a community-based project to deliver groceries, supplies, and meals to at-risk elders and immunocompromised persons. We are dedicated to the well-being of our neighbors and support all efforts to self-quarantine and maintain a healthy, happy life.We look to mobilize low-risk young adults, primarily college students to help others in their community. With every contribution, we are better equipped to:•Provide team members (Squidlings) with protective gear like masks, gloves, and sanitation supplies. Along with sunken costs associated with running deliveries.•Reimburse low-income and financially unstable households during these times of high unemployment and economic turbulence.•Increase marketing efforts to reach more households and grow our volunteer teams (SQDSquads)•Cover overhead expenses, and grow our team and our mission.With only more help to give as the COVID-19 timeline continues, we plan to rally our SQD Squads in national competitions for prizes from our generous donors.
