St. John Catholic School has been providing quality, faith-based education for students of all faiths since 1912. Offers a traditional academic curriculum designed to challenge each student. Pre-K3 year old through 8th grade. Classes are with a low student to teacher ratio in order to provide each student with individual attention. Providing education of the child's whole being: intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional and physical. The curriculum for all grades emphasizes literacy, critical thinking & problem solving. The school endeavors to instill in our students a love of learning, to live Christian values, and to serve in their community.St. John Catholic School specializes in serving students with dyslexia by using the Scottish Rite Hospital's TAKE FLIGHT dyslexia program with two certified therapists and one reading interventionist on our faculty. The dyslexia program is another approach where the school is continuing to strive to serve all students. St. John Catholic School families with dyslexia children do not have to pay any additional charges for this type of therapy. Dyslexia therapy is not easily attainable for students in our region, including public school students, and cost extra for the therapists.
