Born at St. Margaret's Hospital on Cushing Hill, now known as St. Mary's Center for Women and Children, Mr. Walsh has been a dedicated public servant committed to social justice, women, and children, changing the lives of thousands across the city of Boston.St. Mary's Center for Women and Children offers seven innovative, family-centered programs for women and children who have experienced trauma and are living in poverty. Placing families at the center of our efforts, St. Mary's Center works in partnership with women, many of them young mothers, to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and achieve lasting, powerful change.
