During these unprecedented times, the social aspect of our youngest have been stripped away from them by the COVID-19 pandemic. Starlight getaway is a student-founded organization with the purpose of bringing together children from all backgrounds to socialize, read, and have fun. Acknowledging that interacting with others is crucial for the development of children, starlight getaway pairs the equally important skill of reading into its activities. Providing time to play games and read books, starlight getaway fosters a fun environment for our students.
