Stratford-Upon-Avon Business Improvement District (BID) has been in operation since April 2009 and is the trading name of Stratforward Business Improvement District Limited, a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee.The BID represents more than 430 businesses across Stratford-Upon-Avon Town Centre. All businesses with a Business Rateable Value above £9500 within the Stratford-Upon-Avon Town Centre geographical area currently pay 1.47% Levy based on their rateable value.Stratford-Upon-Avon businesses voted in favour to renew the BID for a further five years in September 2018. The BID began its current term on 1st April 2019 and the BID will operate until the 31st of March 2024. Our projects outlined in the current Business Plan are: to deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy; run award-winning festivals; operate the Town Ambassador programme; deliver security initiatives and offer a wide range of business support initiatives.Stratford-Upon-Avon BID will collect and manage a budget, in excess of £1.65 million during this BID Term. This is used to achieve the company's key objective of bringing more people into Stratford town centre, making them stay longer, spend more and leave happy.
