Street Wisdom Details
Street Wisdom is an idea invented by David Pearl and further developed with Chris Baréz-Brown. The idea is that if we are in the right state then all the answers we need come to us. This is based on the premise that everyday life is sending us rich signals, guidance and tuition which we largely overlook or ignore. Street Wisdom helps participants to tune into and learn from this latent wisdom with absolutely minimal preparation and cost. Street Wisdom uses the street as one of the richest sources of stimulus that we can ever tap. People find they have the most amazing breakthroughs in the most unusual ways. It may be that their brain makes sense of random stimulus offered it in such a way that the solution to the question was obvious. It may be that people realise they are asking the wrong question and as the Street provoked them, the new question is seemingly easy to answer. Our mission here is to help humans be brighter, cleverer, kinder, more creative, peaceful, wise and fun to be with. Put it another way, our deep intent is that others find and realise theirs. The simplicity and replicability is important for this project. It's something that has been developed as a piece of free liveware (software for life) that can be downloaded anywhere and reliably applied in any country of the world. We think of this as a disruptive educational non-profit start up offering high-speed human development. Ultimately we want to see Street Wisdom springing up across the globe from Laos to London, Burundi to Berlin.
