Students for Amani is a registered non-profit organisation that was founded by 7 students in 2019. We came together because we had become aware of a common problem: Many people around us were eager to donate to a charity for a good cause but were confronted with the difficulty of finding a reliable and trustworthy association. In addition, we realized that many small organisations have great projects, but unfortunately not many people are aware of them. We wanted to find a solution to these two scenarios.Hence, we have set ourselves the goal to raise awareness of small-scale and transparent projects that support children and youth rights and link these projects with sponsors and donors from around the world.We focus particularly on small-scale projects, as these often lack public presence and therefore have a harder time to be supported, even though they generate an important and irreplaceable impact within their local community. At the same time, many sponsors want to know exactly where their money is going and which social returns their donations yield. By supporting different small-scale projects, it is possible for Students for Amani to trace exactly this impact and to offer transparent donation streams.What distinguishes us from many other organisations is that before collaborating with an NGO we determine for which cause the donations will be invested.
