Super Heroes In Ripped Jeans was founded by Terra Butler. Through her years of work in animal shelters, she discovered an incredible demand in the community for low-cost spay/neuter programs, a pet food pantry, and assistance obtaining emergency veterinary care. After seeing no one take action, our founder stepped up and addressed the issues herself. She gathered a small, but vital army of volunteers to help carry out the movement. We were officially registered as a Humane Society in New York State and recognized as a 501(c)(3) in 2018. Our volunteer group has grown immensely since then and we are so grateful. By teaming up together we are able to accomplish much more for the community. Super Heroes In Ripped Jeans's shelter facility is located in rural Oneonta, NY. We also use a robust network of foster homes because we understand how important a home setting is for the animals' well being.
