Founded in 1999, our school provides Swedish language education for children age one to fifteen throughout the county of San Diego. Our school has supported hundreds of families over the years, and has helped students evolve to approach higher education both in the US and Sweden.Our school offers an opportunity to explore language, but also participate in cultural events. Parents often express the unique ability of the Swedish School of San Diego to bridge language education while allowing the child to grow independently. Many children create strong bonds with friends and peers at the school. Finding friends being raised in multicultural families just like theirs creates an encouraging environment where the child finds comfort, and it often allows the child to blossom in their education.
