The TahitiPetey Foundation is a private, self-funded organization based in British Columbia, Canada, dedicated to increasing awareness of important ocean issues through travel. As Founder and President of my Foundation and Travel Group, I have been through some truly unbelievable life and business challenges to build my brand. I have worked tirelessly to refine and launch my programs, projects and Travel Group, with limited success, and came to the conclusion that most people and Investors simply never fully understand the scale of my TahitiPetey business model. I must admit, it is massive and somewhat crazy in that I propose to operate within seven well-established global industries all at the once. However, that is also its core competitive advantage. Never-the-less, that misunderstanding, combined with the collapse of the global economy over the past two years, created a lack of available capital for new concepts like mine, and this in turn made it all but impossible to accomplish my goals. Well, out of every failure comes a new opportunity, and as a determined and passionate entrepreneur, I concluded that I must move forward and continue to bring my brand to life. And so I am!
