We are TANK Kollektiv, founded in Groningen, with great passion for the underground electronic music scene. We connected through our passion for music and our common understanding of what electronic music events should be about. 'TANK' is short for Techno AN dem Keller, since we organized our first parties in the basement of an old hotel building in 2012. Successively, we organized many more events on unique locations such as factories, former recording studios and an old cinema. In addition to our events, we express our love for electronic music through our podcast TANK Radio. We are also proud to mention that our residents have played their music on many national and international events, and will continue to do so! After a rollercoaster ride of more than 5 years with mostly ups and a few downs, we can proudly say that our devotion for electronic music is existent more than ever. We try to explore as many events as possible to enjoy the celebration of underground electronic music with like-minded people. Big electronic music events get plenty of attention in the international scene. However, in our opinion we'd love to see more focus on the unique underground ambiance of small-scaled electronic music events. Hence, we try to center the small parties and festivals as well as other underground events on our website. Thus this website will showcase our own activities as well as the electronic music events that we enjoy the most.
