Founded by former Minister of Immigration, the Honourable Tuariki Delamere, our mission at TDA is quite simple. We aim to set the standards for integrity, competency and honesty in the immigration and international student consultancy industry.TDA was founded in March 2000 by the Honourable Tuariki Delamere after he left Parliament in December 1999. Our first clients were four siblings, children from a Cambodian family who had been set to New Zealand by their parents as students in order to escape the uncertainties of life in a country still recovering from the genocidal regime of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. Today those four "children" are now citizens and own two very successful bakeries. Our first office was in the HSBC tower on the corner of Queen Street and Wellesley Street. We quickly outgrew that and by the end of 2000 we moved to the FAI Building on the corner of Queen St and Victoria Street. Our business quickly grew and with Mr Delamere regularly visiting China and other East Asia countries TDA was the biggest New Zealand immigration consultancy operating in that region. Today TDA has 13 staff at its head office. TDA also has offices in Mt Albert, Tauranga, Hamilton, Melbourne and Guangzhou. We expect to add further offices during 2011 and 2012.TDA has developed its own online internet based Client Management System (CMS) which provides client with a level of transparency and protection that other consultancies do not offer.
