Technovation Challenge Bangladesh is the Bangladesh Chapter of the global initiative "Technovation". It is the world's largest and longest running tech competition for girls. In Technovation Girls, teams of young women (ages 10-18) identify a problem, create an app to solve it, code the app, build a company to launch the app in the market and pitch their plan to experts all in 3 months. Technovation's applied, project based computer science and entrepreneurship curriculum reinforces digital presentation of information, algorithmic thinking and programming and emphasizes the societal impact of information and information technology.Our mission is to inspire girls to become successful in STEM field by their innovative ideas and become more confident and skilled. Bangladesh will participate for the first time in this competition. Winners of the competition will get scholarships and opportunities to start their own business.
