In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At our TEDxDresden event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will come together to spark deep discussion and connections. Our team's work is voluntary and driven by passion for the community. Our backgrounds are as diverse as the ideas we want to spread: medicine, engineering, international relations, psychology, IT, physics and music.We love it when people engage with society – it's at the heart of our work to make our audience understand and reflect the aspects of the future that we'll be challenged with. The aim of our motto "Embrace the Future" this year, is to convey an optimistic view to our participants how they can successfully shape their very own future.
