TEDxTableMountain sprang from a series of discussions between four women in 2011. We explored the concept of "sustainable relationships", how relationships with ourselves and each other are mirrored in our approach to the rest of life on Earth. Two TEDx events emerged from these discussions in 2012: TEDxTableMountain – Creative Perspectives on the Human Nature Relationship, and TEDxPrinceAlbert – Meet me there: Working Beneath, Between and Beyond towards a thriving planet.TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 26 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
