Non-Profit - Hertfordshire, ENG, UK
We support young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. There are 2,405 new cases of cancer in teenagers and young adults in the UK each year. 48% of these are based in the South East of England and need the ongoing support of Teens Unite. We inspire young people who have been diagnosed to recognise their potential, now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full. When you're faced with cancer, plenty of people will tell you what you can't do, but we show these young people what they can do, without the ‘c' word holding them back or defining who they are. Through the regular activities we organise, young people can benefit from peer-to-peer support by spending time with others who genuinely understand, as well as learning new skills, challenging themselves and seeing that there is life beyond cancer.
