Food Production - Falciano del Massico, Campania, Italy
The Tenute Bianchino winery was founded in 2011 in the heart of Ager Falernus, an area located in the Campania region and more precisely in the province of Caserta, in southern Italy. We produce the following types of wine: Aglianico IGT, Falanghina IGT and Falerno del Massico DOC. Falerno wine is one of the oldest wines in the world, even the first DOC in history. It is said to have been the wine of the emperors of ancient Rome, among the most prized wines of that ancient time and represented a real status symbol that identified the Status of the people who owned it. Acclaimed by writers and poets of the Roman Empire and also later during Middle Age, Falerno wine is still produced in the same area between Sessa Aurunca and Mondragone. Tenute Bianchino is a young and innovative company that has its roots in the tradition of a territory full of history and flavors. Influenced by a very particular area between the sea and the mountains which gives the wine we produce rare and excellent properties.
