This story begins tomorrow. It's the story of a family of entrepreneurs who fell in love with the countryside in the beautiful hills of the Langhe and the Maremma. That's where the first chapters of the Costa family's wine adventure starts: in Piedmont and in Tuscany. Theirs is a bold project: to bring together several of Italy's best wine zones under one label. Starting with Piedmont and Tuscany. In the Piedmontese hills called le Langhe, best known for their excellent wines, the company is establishing the DueCorti estate, while further south, on Tuscany's sunny coast, the winery is named TerrediFiori –lands of the flowers. For now, they're both still building sites surrounded by vineyards but, by the end of 2010, two distinct cellars will emerge. Distinct for the diverse personality of the wines they will nurture there, but related by a common ideal. Each cellar will be designed as a complete winemaking whole: from their enological hearts – with matching, ecological souls – to the fine architecture that will embody them. There are also two very human faces to this project, a father and son team, Andrea and Luca Costa. Here different generations have been brought together in a common goal: to bring this dream to life.
