The Texas Star Dinner Theater, located in Historic Downtown Grapevine is the new permanent home of Lone Star Murder Mysteries. Lone Star Murder Mysteries are produced by Lagniappe Productions a professional entertainment company with more than 39 years of experience in Old West entertainment. "Lagniappe" is a southern word of Cajun origin that means "an unexpected gift" or "a little something extra." The name represents our mission statement of "exceeding expectations with the highest level of integrity and professionalism." Lagniappe Productions provides authentically costumed professional actors as cowboys, gunfighters, saloon girls, and more for events and venues all over the world. A History of Award-Winning ShowsIn 2003, Lone Star Murder Mysteries debuted in the Fort Worth Stockyards as an instant hit. In September 2004 we moved to the Gaylord Texan where year round we entertained thousands with our unique brand of Wild West comedy "who-done-its" and established a reputation as a great entertainment experience. Lone Star Murder Mysteries were named "Best Entertainment in Texas" by Texas Meetings + Events Magazine in 2016 and garnered a four dagger rating, the highest given, from the Ft. Worth Star Telegram in its review of best murder mystery dinner theaters. These accolades are great, but the most meaningful have been the thousands of positive comments we've received from our audiences. We've branded our wacky western style of comedy entrainment "Where Historical Meets Hysterical" and after a few hours of laughter and fun we think you'll agree.
