The Angler Details
The Angler is a magazine run by students of the English Department from Leiden University. It consists of a board, and a separate committee with 4-7 members. The aim is to educate its readership about the four of disciplines of the study English Language and Culture (Language Acquisition, Linguistics, Literature, Philology), as well as providing articles about culture, current affairs, movie/book reviews, history, and interviews with lecturers from the English Department. The magazine also provides a platform for students to explore their creative side by holding a Creative Writing Competition each issue.
