Our vision is to promote worm farming as a viable, cost-effective and time-efficient option for local businesses, backyards and courtyards across the suburbs and beyond. We would like to see worm farming go mainstream.Worm farming (vermiculture) is the art of breeding and growing compost worms that convert household and commercial food and green organics (FOGO) into powerful natural soil improvers. Compost worms are a few specialized species of worms that are able to eat decaying vegetable matter, rather than soil. This greatly speeds up the composting process while diverting compost from landfill or the green waste bin.The Australian Worm Firm exists to assist customers in making the transition to worm farming as seamless as possible by providing them the supplies, resources and confidence to take on and effectively manage their own worm farm.We treat all our customers and suppliers with respect, honesty and kindness.
