The Bardic Studio is a registered Australian charity, founded with a mission to provide pathways to participation in all aspects of cinema for all Australians. We work actively towards contributing to an Australian cinema that truly reflects the diversity of our community. Our special projects are designed to create access to the full range of cinema experiences for Australians from specific groups or communities.PROJECT 1: The KidzFlicks project for child filmmakers began in 2012. Its centerpiece is the Sydney International Festival of Films by Children. KidzFlicks includes an array of opportunities for child filmmakers and for children as a cinema audience. KidzFlicks is an accessible project.PROJECT 2: The Wide Angle Film Festival (formerly Access All Areas) is for people with disability. It has been rebranded this year in response to feedback from people with disability and is now known as the Wide Angle Film Festival.
