The Beats That Give Back (TBTGB) was a registered charity in Australia, founded in 2006 by Olivia Cawthorne and Bron Harrison. TBTGB celebrated the gift of giving through music, performance and rhythm. Money was raised through music festivals that fund various projects around the world to alleviate human suffering and conserve the biodiversity of our planet. TBTGB representatives ensured that all proceeds go directly to the projects they support.TBTGB ran three consecutive fundraisers in 2006, 2007 and 2008.After hosting TBTGB website for another ten years after the last festival, we have decided to close the website and pop the Facebook page in it's place, so that those involved have a reference for their contributions to these truly amazing festivals and projects.Thank you to all the amazing people that were a part of the projects and festivals.My personal aim is to visit the organization beneficiaries of the funds. It brought me great joy to visit Tashi Kyil Monastery in 2017 and I hope to get to Kenya soon.Given how long ago these fundraiser events took place, I am not confident that I have captured all those that volunteered or donated, and I invite you to please message me of any people I have missed and thank you in advance for your understanding.
