The Broke Gallery is a project that was originally funded in 2016 by Art Starts through the Platform A initiative, in order to engage local communities through art -- the purpose of this gallery is to showcase emerging artists 16-35 years of age across the city of Toronto.We are pop-up, multimedia community gallery that provides emerging artists a free venue and event to display their work. In addition, we have branched out to providing free workshops for local youth and emerging artists in the city. Our mission is to create engaging works of art, and open future opportunities for youth in Toronto to be able to achieve their goals. Together, we can make change. We are BROKE but not BROKEN!
