Why the four leaves of the clover? Many people think that a four leaf clover is lucky. We know what luck is – it's when preparation meets opportunity. We like the four leaf clover because it is representative of our core values: Integrity, Resilience, Fortitude, and Focus. Integrity is our first value – it is a basis for our activities. We have to deliver on what we say we will. We have to deliver, because our client is dependent upon us. . Resilience – the activities of organizations that we work with are never the easy ones. We don't always have the luxury of stopping everything to fix or resolve issues. Being resilient not only means the ability to respond to these changes, but the ability to foresee these changes: not to endure, but to prevail. Fortitude – doing the right thing can be hard; it often is. Competing priorities can prompt one to take the easy path, the well beaten path. Instilling the sense of courage is vital to staying the course on any activity comprised of more than one task. Focus – as mentioned before, competing and conflicting priorities require concentration on the long term goal, not the short term feel good. The ability to relentlessly pursue business and organizational objectives requires a strength, a drive, a passion. These qualities have to remain bridled and guided – by focus. Focus on what needs to happen; focus on the plan; eyes on the prize.
