For over 50 years, the Committee for the Rapid Advancement of Pets has worked in the background, influencing public perception of pets and encouraging humans to start new pet relationships. From coining the phrase "man's best friend" to creating the "Cat Lady" comic book character (name later changed), the Committee has long been a powerful ally for pets. Now a publicly recognized organization, the Committee will continue to affect conversations, opinions and policy on behalf of pets across North America.
