The Distributed Energy Resources Council of Hawaii (DERC Hawaii) is a collaboration between distributed energy resource (DER), active demand management (DR), and smart grid (SG) companies committed to developing constructive paths towards an affordable, reliable and sustainable energy supply for Hawaii. Its objectives are to enable DER, DR, and SG technologies to provide clean, sustainable energy and reliability services, and to ensure that DER, DR, and SG companies receive reasonable compensation for their contributions. DERC Hawaii will act by engaging in Hawaii policy and legislative forums and with Hawaii stakeholders with the explicit intent of collaborating with all stakeholders willing to work cooperatively toward achieving those common goals. DERC Hawaii is a 501c6 non-profit trade association.
