Fund-raising - Long Beach, California, United States
Robert F. Smith has been blind all of his life. His Father, O.C. Smith, inspired Robert to use his voice and his heart to build a passion to enable him to reach out to others. Robert is using his heart to help other non-profits. Last year Robert walked from Long Beach, California to Las Vegas. He traveled almost 1,500,000 steps in 32 days, while crossing parts of Death Valley.Thru his steps he helped secure the training for a pup to be trained for a child with severe autism and diabetes. He also passed out over 500 Sock puppets to kids with cancer, schools, Boys & Girls Clubs and he even sent some international. He also assisted Veterans in free concerts and distribution of his Toss To Target Game Towels. This year Robert will be WALKING from The Grand Ole Opry to Dollywood. He is going to raise funds for The Gary Sinise Foundation, Henry's Place and of course support The Little Green Apples ProjectBy joining Robert's dreams, you can assist a blind man who has a vision for humanity. Robert may never be able to be a First Responder or serve in the military, but Robert in his own way is Serving America with his time, his talent and walking to support Kindness throughout our country. Contact Robert, and encourage him as he prepares for The Kindness Walk 2019.
