The Lobster Pot was established in 1967, and has built a reputation for wide a variety of food at affordable prices for locals and visitors alike. The Lobster Pot has been a family restaurant since March 1995 when Trevor and Jean Marnewick bought the Ramsgate Jewel so well known for its Lobster Tower. In December 2015 it was time for them to move onto retirement and so their daughter and son in-law Linda and Bruce Forbes took over, hoping to maintain the legacy of fine food and a warm friendly atmosphere. Although there have been a few minor changes many of the classics such as the Lobster Thermidor and Signature Whiskey and Cream Prawns have remained, along with the locals favorite 4 Course Sunday Lunch.One of the celebrated changes brought about by Linda and Bruce is the return of the Monthly Dine and Dance.
