The Martha Maher-Garcia Memorial Foundation Details
The Martha Maher-Garcia Memorial Foundation is a Not-for-Profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 2016 in honor of Martha Maher-Garcia, a lifelong Rochester, New York resident, former Director of Human Resources at Monroe Community College, and champion of educational opportunities for Rochester women, and whose courage, strength and grace during her battle with breast cancer was an inspiration to all who knew her. The Foundation was established in Martha's honor to raise money to fund scholarships for college students; provide financial resources to families affected by cancer; and support innovative research into discovery of a cure for breast cancer.
